Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with SparkDesk. It protects other customers, email recipients and the service itself.
Email and messaging
- Only email people who have agreed to hear from you or with whom you have an existing relationship, and follow anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, CASL and the GDPR.
- Do not use purchased, rented, scraped or harvested lists.
- Every marketing email must identify you and include a working unsubscribe link (SparkDesk adds one to broadcasts). Honor unsubscribes promptly.
- Do not hide or forge sender identity, and only send from addresses and domains you control.
- Keep bounce and complaint rates low. We may pause sending when they exceed normal levels.
Content
- No illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- No malware, phishing pages, or links intended to deceive recipients.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or content that sexualizes minors.
- No collection of sensitive data (such as payment card numbers, government IDs or health records) through forms unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
Security and fair use
- Do not access, or attempt to access, another customer's data or accounts.
- Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without written permission. To report a security issue, email hello@sparkdesk.io.
- Do not overload the service, bypass rate or sending limits, or create multiple workspaces to get around plan limits or trials.
- Do not resell or provide the service to third parties except as part of your own business use, unless we agree in writing.
Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, pause sending, or suspend workspaces that break this policy. Where possible we will tell you what happened and how to fix it. Report abuse to hello@sparkdesk.io.
