Changelog
What's new in SparkDesk.
Release notes for customers: new features, improvements and fixes.
Highlights
- Flows replace workflows. Build automations with a simple When, If, Then editor, test them before they go live, and attach (“clip”) a flow to a specific client, project or record from the Flows button on any record page.
- Billing on a schedule. A flow can open timesheets and create the invoice for each client period (weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly), send reminders a few days before a period ends, and reuse your last invoice’s layout, terms and notes.
- Reports, rebuilt. Reports show every row with group subtotals and a grand total, headline numbers and charts that follow your quick filters, a setup panel beside the report, and columns you can freeze. Every template was rebuilt, and invoice revenue now accounts for credit notes.
- Products & Services. Keep a catalog of what you sell in CRM and pick items straight onto quotes, invoices and credit notes.
- Connect AI assistants by signing in. Add SparkDesk to Claude or another AI assistant with one link, sign in, and choose the organization. No API key to copy.
- Tasks remember when they were finished, and the task page shows the completed date.
Also New
- Project pages show what happened on their tasks too, with Tasks, Time and Flows filters.
- The project Time tab is easier to read and edit.
- A redesigned org chart with zoom, search and a Teams view, and a simple list on phones.
- Preview your client portal and knowledge base articles before clients see them.
- Settings are grouped by area, with dedicated Finance, Quotes & Invoices and Contracts pages.
- Help icons and tooltips open with a tap on phones and tablets.
- Undo and redo while editing a flow, and a warning before changing a flow that is already running.
- Every API and AI assistant request is listed in the API & MCP Activity report.
Fixes
- People who have been removed no longer appear in pickers, member lists or notifications.
- Emails sent to your support address are routed more reliably, automatic replies are recognised, and Settings > Service lists recent emails and what happened to each.
- Saved table views always load; if a view is missing you see All Records instead of an empty page.
- Branding changes keep your other brand settings.
