For agencies

Stop stitching five tools together to run one client.

Marketing, digital and web agencies use SparkDesk to keep the deal, the scope, the hours and the invoices on the same client record, so nobody has to ask where things stand.

A client project with its task board, budget used and hours logged by the team
  1. Budget used
  2. Hours by person
  3. Linked invoices

Sound familiar?

What gets fixed

Scope creep you only notice at invoice time
Project budgets track logged hours against what you sold, so you can raise a change order while there is still time to have the conversation.
Chasing timesheets every Friday
People log time against tasks as they work. Weekly timesheets go to a manager for approval, and approved hours are ready to bill.
Retainers billed from memory
A Flow can create each client's invoice on a schedule from approved time, reusing the last invoice's terms and notes.
Clients emailing for status
The client portal shows their projects, documents, invoices and requests behind a magic-link sign-in, without taking a paid seat.

How a job runs in SparkDesk

  1. 01 / Win

Track leads and opportunities in a pipeline, send a quote from your products and services, and get the contract signed with built-in e-signature.

  2. 02 / Deliver

Turn the won deal into a project from a template. Tasks, boards, docs and time all hang off the same client.

  3. 03 / Bill

Invoice a deposit up front, progress invoices as you go, and the final balance at the end, or bill retainers from approved hours.

  4. 04 / Support

Client requests arrive as cases from email or the portal, with SLAs so nothing waits too long.

For agencies: questions

Something else? Ask us.

  • Can we bill retainers and project work in the same workspace?

Yes. Fixed-fee projects can use deposit, progress and final invoices from the accepted quote, while retainer clients can be billed per period from approved time, either by hand or with a scheduled Flow.

  • Do our clients need a SparkDesk account?

No paid account. Clients sign in to the portal with a magic link sent to their email. Portal users never take a paid seat; each plan includes a number of portal users and you can add more.

  • How do we move off spreadsheets and our current tools?

Use the import wizard for CSV files of accounts, contacts, deals and more. If you would rather hand it off, our Data migration service is scoped before any work starts.
